What a private tournament is

A private tournament is made for a specific group, such as friends, a company, a team, or a community. It is not meant to be discovered by everyone in the public tournament list.

How to recognize one

Private tournaments are visually separated from public tournaments in the app with their own private card styling and color treatment. If a tournament was shared with you directly, it is usually private.

How to join

• Open the invite link or tournament details shared by the organizer.
• Enter a password if the tournament requires one.
• Check the start date, end date, rules, and participant limit.
• Join before the tournament closes or reaches its participant limit.

How private tournaments are different

• They are controlled by the organizer, not open discovery.
• They can have a custom duration and participant limit.
• The leaderboard is focused on the invited group.
• If you cannot access it, the organizer or support may need to help.
