Where coins appear

Your coin balance is shown in Lawa areas where coins matter, such as the header and the shop. The shop also shows whether you have enough coins for the item or how many more coins you need.

How you can earn coins

  • Walking can award coins as your steps are processed. The current walking default is 1 coin per 1,000 synced steps.
  • Coin lootboxes can award a small random coin amount.
  • Tournament placement can award coins based on rank when that tournament has coin rewards.
  • Challenges can award coins or items after you complete and claim them.
  • Friend invites can award coins to both players when an invite reward is active and the invite is completed.

How to spend coins

  • Open the Shop tab.
  • Browse categories such as Loyalty, Hats, Facewear, Shirts, Pants, Shoes, and Rewards.
  • Tap an item to view its details, price, rarity, description, and color variants when available.
  • Tap buy when you have enough coins. The button is disabled if you already own the item or do not have enough coins.
  • Avatar items can be equipped from Profile > Wardrobe after purchase.

Coupons and loyalty rewards

  • Some shop rewards are loyalty offers instead of avatar clothing.
  • Redeemed loyalty offers can be found in Settings > My Coupons.
  • Read the offer details before redeeming so you know what the reward is and how to use it.

If a reward is missing

  • Refresh the screen or reopen Lawa after the related race, tournament, invite, or challenge completes.
  • For challenge rewards, make sure you tapped claim after completing the challenge.
  • For step-based rewards, check that your steps have synced from the selected step counter.
  • Contact support with the reward name, event name, expected amount, and your username if it still does not appear.
