Adding friends

Where to find friends

Open your Profile tab and tap Friends. This opens your friends page with your invite banner, friend count, friend list, request inbox, and search button.

Add someone by username

• Tap Search friends at the bottom of the Friends screen.
• Type at least 2 characters. You can type the username with or without @.
• Tap the add-friend icon next to the player you want to invite.
• Lawa shows Friend invited when the request was sent.
• The player becomes your friend after they accept the request.

Accept incoming requests

On the Friends screen, tap the request icon in the top right. A badge appears when requests are waiting. Open the request list and choose Accept or Deny for each player.

Add someone from their profile

You can also tap a player in places like race lobbies, leaderboards, and friend search results. If they are not your friend yet, their profile popup shows an add-friend button.

Invite someone who is not on Lawa yet

Use the invite banner on the Friends screen to share a Lawa invite link. The link lets someone join from outside the app and connect with you after they sign in or create an account.

Race with friends

• When creating a race, use the Invite friends step to select friends before the race is created.
• From a race lobby, joined players can invite friends directly.
• After someone becomes your friend, Lawa can offer a quick action to create a race with them.

If you cannot find someone

• Ask for their exact username and spelling.
• Try searching without the @ symbol.
• Make sure you typed at least 2 characters.
• If you already invited them, wait for them to accept or check your pending requests.
